About the Founders of Fëniks Revial

At Fëniks Revival, we believe that every item has a story—and sometimes, it just needs a second chance to shine. Founded by Laural and Susanne, two creative souls from Winnipeg with a shared passion for sustainability, craftsmanship, and community, Fëniks Revival is more than a retail shop—it’s a movement toward conscious, beautiful living.

Our journey began with a spark: a deep friendship, a mutual love for thrifting, and countless conversations about how to combine our passions into something meaningful. Laural, with her green thumb and hydroponic greenhouse, brings a love of growth, renewal, and nature’s cycles to everything she touches. Susanne, an educator who now supports students with special needs, brings heart, compassion, and an innate ability to nurture both people and ideas.

Together, we’ve created a space where creativity meets intention. We both sew, craft, and constantly seek new skills and artistic expressions—especially ones that breathe new life into discarded treasures. Whether it’s a vintage blazer reimagined for today’s wardrobe or a once-forgotten vase turned into a statement piece, everything we create or curate reflects our belief in quality, character, and craftsmanship.

Fëniks—named after the mythical phoenix, a symbol of rebirth—reflects our mission: to revive the beauty of the past and reshape it for a sustainable future.
